calculix-cgx software package provides Calculix cgx is a 3-dimensional pre- and post-processor for fem, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install calculix-cgx
calculix-cgx is installed in your system.
Make ensure the calculix-cgx package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep calculix-cgx *
You will get with calculix-cgx package name, version, architecture and description in a table
